I'm just a silent observer
Sitting at the side of the road
Staring as a hundred cars fly by
racing to their early end
Waiting until it's over.
I'm just a lonely spectator
Lying underneath a sea of trees
Watching a thousand dancing shadows
fighting each for their existence
Wondering endlessly why for.
I'm just slowly fading out
Hiding in the back of my head
Looking quietly at your perfection
screaming to be completed
Realizing without a doubt,
I can't race, fight nor scream
But then again I would gladly die
To have you in my every dream.
